The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) has set an ambitious goal of providing Colorado residents with personalized, meaningful career support services no matter their age, background, disability, or the stage of their career journey.

With a grand, yet clear mission to provide career and employment opportunities to all Coloradans, CDLE actively sought partnerships to expand their services and resources for career exploration. Pathful emerged as a valuable partner, demonstrating the powerful capabilities of its platform to educate and inform individuals of all ages and backgrounds about their career interests, and opportunities. Success was further realized through collaboration between the CDLE team and their dedicated Customer Success Team at Pathful.

The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) aspires to advance economic opportunities for all Coloradans. Committed to developing and nurturing the state's workforce, the agency wants all residents to have access to the education and training necessary to keep Colorado thriving . Pathful was the perfect fit to help the CDLE reach these goals


Impact:

Pathful has extended the reach of Workforce Development Programs across the state, serving over 19,500 individuals of all ages, including those in rural and underserved areas. Pathful has transformed how the CDLE's Workforce Development Programs help Coloradans remain competitive and future-ready in a fast-changing climate. Clients are able to dive deep and explore a potential career's education requirements, payscale, and future outlook. To take it a step further, clients can consult current, integrated labor market information not just by career, but by location.


How they use Pathful:

The CDLE, WIOA Career Specialists, transition staff and the Colorado Department of Corrections all use Pathful to support a diverse range of individuals at all stages of their career journey. This includes using the Pathful assessment tools to help them determine their interests and set career goals. Through Pathful’s extensive video library , they can explore a wide variety of careers and trades and brush up on soft skills with our Life skills video content. Pathful’s Workforce readiness lessons and activities, post secondary exploration and financial literacy tools also serve as excellent preparation for the New teacher Externship program and the Colorado Governor's Summer Job Hunt program.


How we found success:

The partnership between Pathful’s CSM and the CDLE Team’s points of contact opened the door to collaboration with other departments across the state including the Division of Vocational Rehab, Connecting Colorado, the Department of Education, and the Department of Corrections. These partnerships led to an efficient and effective implementation of Pathful across the CDLE’s many branches, providing Colordans of all ages access to career evaluation, education and training.
